EMU HISTORY "Emu, THE Natural Alternative!!"
The emu, native to Australia, has been traced back nearly 60 million years to the age of the dinosaur. It is a member of the ratite (flightless birds) family and second only to the ostrich in size. For hundreds of years the emu has been revered by the native people of Australia, the Aborigines. It provided the Aborigines with meat, clothing and natural medicines. It is only in the past 15-20 years that the rest of the world has become aware of the products of this large bird. Healthy red meat that is extremely low in fat, hides that provide quality leather products and an oil that is rendered from the fat of the bird that may become one of the greatest natural discoveries of the 21st century.
